早在1970年的早些时候，Udo Dirkschneider就在他的家乡、德国的Solingen（索林根）组建了Accept，但直到几年之后才有了一个比较固定的阵容。包括主唱Udo Dirkschneider，吉他手Wolf Hoffman和Gerhard Wahl，贝斯手Peter Baltes以及鼓手Frank Friedrich。Accept对日后Thrash Metal和Speed Metal的发展都起到了巨大的影响。在他们拥有一副魔性化的尖利嗓音的主唱Udo Dirkschneider的带领下，通过凶狠简洁的节奏和极富杀伤力的速度以及无与伦比的强悍的舞台风格的塑造，Accept的声音在重金属乐坛独树一帜。
